🎶 Band Camp Is Almost Here! Everything You Need to Know

Dear Band & Guard Families,

We’re excited to kick off another incredible marching season! Band Camp is right around the corner, and we have important details to share to ensure everyone is fully prepared.

📅 Band Camp Schedule

• Percussion & Colorguard Camp:
• July 20–24, 2026 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

• Band Camp Week 1 (Full Band):
• July 27– July 31, 2026 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

• Band Camp Week 2 (Full Band):
• August 3 – 7, 2026 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• Dinner break 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. **Students must leave for dinner and return for evening session
• 🎶 Informance Performance: August 7

🧃 What to Bring: Band Camp Essentials

To keep our students healthy and comfortable throughout long rehearsal days, please make sure they come prepared:

Required Items:

• At least a half-gallon water bottle (refillable) - smaller bottles are not big enough to stay hydrated.
• Lunch and snacks
• Sunscreen & bug spray
• Deodorant
• Hair ties (as needed)
• Extra change of clothes
• Any personal medical supplies (bandages, menstrual products, allergy meds, etc.)
• Guard only: Small fanny pack and black and white electrical tape

Optional (but helpful!):

• Hat or bandana
• Sunglasses
• Extra socks

👥 Volunteers Needed – We Can’t Do It Without You!

We need many hands to make Band Camp and our season a success! Opportunities are available on BoosterHub:

***Important: All volunteers (parents, pit prop, chaperones, etc.) must register with the Wake County Public School System. Please, register or process your renewal ASAP at https://myvolunteer.com/wcpss/volunteer/login

• Chaperones: Indoor, outdoor, and Colorguard shifts available. Help keep students safe and hydrated. Bring a book, laptop, or your work—there’s downtime!
• Uniform Fitting Helpers: No sewing required! Just assist with sizing and recording info.
• Staff Dinner Hosts: Provide dinner for our hardworking staff during Week 2.
• Donations: We’ll be collecting items in the carpool lane on July 27.
